       By the end of the course, students will be able to:

1. Critically evaluate current research on AI-assisted academic writing, including research methods, evidence quality, and scholarly claims.

2. Synthesize literature across AI-assisted writing studies to identify research gaps, emerging trends, and unresolved issues.

3. Design and conduct a feasible small-scale empirical study related to AI-mediated academic writing or EFL learning.

4. Apply responsible AI practices in academic writing through effective prompting, verification of AI-generated content, transparent disclosure, and ethical source use.

5. Produce a research-informed academic paper that demonstrates coherent research design, evidence-based analysis, and pedagogical implications suitable for future thesis development or publication planning.
